Ingredients

Step 1 - Roast all the ingredients except desiccated coconut, adding one after the other in a tspn of oil until they turn golden brown.

Step 2 - Let them completely cool. Transfer the sauteed ingredients to a mixer. Add coconut. Grind them adding water little by little.

Step 3 - Heat a tspn of oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds and urad dal once the oil is hot. Once they splutter and urad dal turns light golden, turn off the stove. Add this tadka to the chutney. And you are done :) Serve with dosas/rotis.
